Twins Festival

The Twin’s Festival is celebrated by the Ga and Akan communities in Accra, Ghana. This event honours the African beliefs surrounding fertility, unity, and the special connection that twins are thought to have with the spiritual realm. The festival is a vibrant ceremony that celebrates the divine significance of twins (Absfra Mmienu).
